But basics are: Cut and Paste position cursor at start of block and press md move cursor to end of block and press d'd Move to where you want to paste to and press p or P Copy and Paste position cursor at start of block and press my move cursor to end of block and press y'y Move to where you want to paste to and press p or PThe main point of the above is that its an easy to remember simplification of copy and paste in vi.
